Meet Dr. Robert Hyland
Pictured to the right with his family, Dr. Hyland has been practicing for 24 years. He is a 1986 graduate of the University of Detroit School of Dentistry and has dedicated his career to providing you with the finest dentistry. The doctors and staff of Howell Dental Excellence are continually educating themselves on the newest techniques and approaches to serve you and your family with advanced, state-of-the-art, personalized and antiseptic dental care. There’s even an Oral Surgeon on staff to ensure comprehensive care in one convenient location.
Dr. Hyland has also completed numerous continuing education courses in implant dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics and preventive dentistry. He is a member of the American Orthodontic Society, American Dental Association and Michigan Dental Association, and a former president of the Livingston District Dental Society. Dr. Hyland is also a sponsor of the Howell Area Junior Baseball Association, Howell High School athletic programs, and many local sports teams.
Meet Dr. Jacob B. Thayer, DDS
Dr. Thayer started his secondary education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Earning his degree in Dentistry from the University of Detroit Mercy, Dr. Thayer graduated near the top of his class and was awarded the prestigious “Vedder Society Award” for “Excellence in Crowns and Bridges.” Since then he has attended numerous classes to expand his expertise in the areas of periodontics, orthodontics, and implantology.
Dr. Thayer prides himself on providing quality dentistry in a relaxed setting, minimizing discomfort and making your experience stress-free. No matter what your age or background, Dr. Thayer enjoys caring for patients from all walks of life. He looks forward to meeting you and helping you maintain a healthy, disease-free mouth.
When Dr Thayer is not in the office he enjoys golf, fishing, and spending time with his wife and son.
